Spate of former MLAs joining AAP continues with two term former Congress MLA now in BJP joining AAP
It seems that there is tremendous competition between the Bhartiya Janata Party and AAP to encourage defection bringing more and more leaders into their respective party folds. Even the Congress party is not being spared as three of the former Congress MLAs have joined AAP including several former MLAs of BJP following suit. After the two ministers of cabinet rank have joined BJP viz Mr. Anand former cabinet minister and former transport minister Kailash Gehlot , AAP has also accepted several BJP and Congress MLAs unto its fold. Those firmer MLAs who have joined AAP from BJP and Congress are Brahm Singh Tanwar, Veer Singh Dhingan, Somesh Shokeen, Ram Singh Netaji, B.B. Tyagi, former MLA Shunty, Zubair Ahmed son of three term Congress MLA Mateen Ahmed, his councillor daughter in law and defeated BJP candidate from Patel Nagar Mr. Pravesh. Just yesterday the two term MLA from Congress representing Timarpur , having joined BJP later on, have joined AAM ADMI Party at the behest of Manish Sisodia , former deputy CM. The national convenor of AAP Arvind Kejrival is extremely busy these days in extensive campaigning and Padyatras in Delhi including encouraging defection of BJP and Congress leaders from other parties. Majority of the leaders who had defected from BJP and Congress and joined AAP have been obliged by giving them tickets sideling the sitting AAP MLAs in order to counter the prevailing anti incumbency trend in certain constituencies. Surinder Pal Singh Bittoo who has joined AAP yesterday has a perfect timing coinciding with the Delhi AAP chief Dilip Pandey announcing his intention not to contest from Timarpur this time. He is currently the third term MLA from here. This unambiguously means that Surinder Pal Singh Bittoo may be obliged as party’s nominee in place of sitting MLA Dilip Pandey. Dilip Pandey is the AAP Delhi chief and one of the pivotal spokesman of the party. Welcoming Bitto joining the AAM ADMI Party in the stereotype statement Manish Sisodia said that inspired by the good developmental works in the field of education, health and other sectors the two term former MLA is joining AAP and he is sure that his experience will help the party continue doing good work. Singh said that there is only one party in Delhi that is working for the welfare and wellbeing of the poor, hapless and the Delhites. I have full faith in the leadership of Arvind Kejrival and shall work shoulder to shoulder with AAP said Singh after joining the party jubilantly .
