Kudos Shreyans Mittal for successfully completing an extremely challenging , endurance motorcycle expedition covering India’s entire coastline from Bakkhali, West Bengal to Koteshwar, Gujarat
Rider Shraiyans Mittal completed an extreme endurance motorcycle expedition covering India’s entire coastline from Bakkhali, West Bengal to Koteshwar, Gujarat.
The official record ride ran from 30 March 2026, 5:45 AM to 5 April 2026, 6:35 PM, covering 6,616.6 km in 6 days, 12 hours and 50 minutes on a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, aiming for the ‘Fastest Coastal Expedition – Two Wheeler Solo Men’ record with GPS tracking and log verification.
Including the 1,600 km ride from Greater Noida to the start point and the return ride home, the total distance reached roughly 10,000 km in 10 days without transporting the bike back.
The route followed India’s eastern and western coast through multiple states and UTs, deliberately avoiding faster inland highways.
The highly challenging journey involved ferry delays at Sagar Island and Diamond Harbour that slowed the first 100 km to nearly six hours, narrow pothole-ridden coastal roads, heavy truck traffic near Paradip Port, long riding hours, sleep deprivation, and changing weather.
It also included cultural moments like seeking blessings at Puri’s Jagannath Temple and acts of kindness from locals, such as a roadside meal in Narasapuram.
The expedition highlights endurance, logistical challenges, and India’s coastal diversity from the saddle of a motorcycle.
Shreyans received the outstanding certificate of recognition and appreciation from the India Book of Records certificate recognizing his highly laudable challenging and endurance feat

So this officially validates whatis described earlier — the “One Coast. One Motorcycle. One Rider” expedition. It’s not just the distance, but the fact that he did it _solo, non-stop along the coastline only_, skipping faster inland highways. That makes it an “extraordinary feat” category record. Kudos Shreyans .
