Harish Rawat asks his workers not to participate in his 7 th August Dharna outside CM’s house ! Any guesses : What’s the strategy behind this?

Though the tug of war between former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat and his, rival faction led by former opposition leader Pritam Singh is going on, the former is busy hitting sixes after sixes in social media through his one after another posts trying to pose as the sole trouble shooter of Congress and Nehru Gandhi family losing no opportunity to shunt between Dehradun and Delhi ensuring that no opportunity is lost about his participation in Delhi protests against his leaders Rahul and Sonia’s ED questioning and protests on burning regional issues at Dehradun. At the age of 75 and losing assembly seats thrice in 2017 as well as in 2022 n a parliament seat from Nainital losing by about 1.5 lakh votes, the morale of Harish Rawat is still intact. He loses no opportunity to ensure that his presence is felt in every anti government protests in Uttarakhand and Delhi earning tremendous media, coverage and fullest say in social media. Harish Rawat seems to be least bothered about the non cooperation of his bete noires within his party and goes on in his protest programmes come what may. On his Bhutta Jalebi party thrown to the party workers at Rajiv Bhawan , Dehradun the other day he had given a new ridiculous slogan ” JALEBI BHUTTA KHAYENGE , CONGRESS KO SATTA, MEIN LAAYENGE. He has while castigating the state and central governments on unemployment, inflation and victimisation of Sonia, Rahul by ED announced his Dharna on 7 th August outside Uttarakhand CM’s residence appealing to all leaders and workers to make it a huge success, though his rival camp and its leaders weren’t present at his ” Bhutta Jalebi party”. Unmoved by their non cooperation Rawat’s get together was a grand success, eliciting quite a satisfactory media coverage. However, on Thursday Harish Rawat announced that he is holding his Dharna cum fast outside the CM’s, resident on 7 th August singularly instructing all Congress leaders and workers not to participate in this endeavour of his. He said except his Dharna managers no one is allowed to participate. Sounds unique and different. Usually political leaders tirelessly appeal to their supporters to join in large numbers in their protest events to make them successful but probably this is the first time that any leader of Rawat’s stature is forbidding his workers and leaders not to participate in his 7 th August Dharna outside CM’s house. This sounds different and surprising. Any guesses, please?
