When the mortal remains of martyr Anup Negi reached his native village, Apal, the entire place was filled with grief. The villagers, service members and relatives bid a tearful farewell to their brave son. A funeral procession was held at his native ghat with military paraphernalia. During this, the atmosphere echoed with slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai and Veer Jawan Amar Rahein. Thousands of people paid their respectful tribute to this brave son.
