There is an extremely shocking news about a dedicated soldier succumbing to heavy snow in Siachin glacier after having been sunk in ice in the minus zero temperature snow getting burried underneath.
According to the Gorkha Regiment sources a valiant young soldier Balwant Singh of 15 Kumaon regiment deputed in Siachin under extreme challenging inclement weather conditions was martyred after being buried due to snow sunk the other day.
Balwant Singh hailing from Nagda village in Kumaon,Uttarakhand was posted in Siachin post which is considered to be an extremely inaccesible and dangerous with the weather being inclement most of the time.
