STF Uttarakhand police ready to file 500 page charge sheet in the Court in Ankita Bhandari case !
The in depth investigations by Special Task Force of Uttarakhand police led by an upright officer of integrity ADG – V. Murugeshan in connection with 19 year old Ankita Bhandari case has been completed with 86 days of investigations and the report sent to prosecution to be submitted in the court on Monday after necessary deliberations. The late Ankita Bhandari case in Uttarakhand and late Kiran Negi case in Delhi have invited tremendous attention if the people and media with protest demonstrations and candle marches taking place demanding strictest if the punishment to the culprits possibly the death sentence for brutally killing the daughters of Uttarakhand. There had been repeated demand for CBI enquiry in Ankita Bhandari case with alleged accusations of evidences having been destroyed after arbitrarily demolishing the Vanantara Resort the nucleus of the mid happening. The STF in depth probe consisting of five hundred pages comprises of the names of 100 witnesses and more than thirty documented evidences. Addressing a press conference the ADG, Uttarakhand police and chief of STF P. Murgeshan said that they had 90 days to file the charge sheet but they prepared it in 86 days with 100 witnesses, thirty documented proofs including the evidences related to forensic examinations, post mortem report and evidences pertaining to electronics recoveries. While the narco and polygraph tests are being conducted on the culprits its report will be furnished along with or later on remains to be seen. However, there is a possibility of submission of a supplementary charge sheet in the court.The culprits have been booked under severe IPC acts like 302 murder, 201 to conceal evidences, 120 ( criminal conspiracy) 354 K, Eve teasing and outraging the modesty, and immoral traffic act etc. It is being said that the Narco anc Polygraph tests are being conducted to get more evidences from the culprits especially the name of VIP which cannot be ascertained till yet. The two culprits Pulkit Arya and Saurabh Bhaskar had agreed to the Narco n polygraph tests but another accused Ankit had refused to do so. Kindly recall that the three culprits were arrested on 22 September, 2022 after the murder of 19 year old Ankita Bhandari who was working as receptionist in Vanantara resort situated at Chila Marg, Ganga Bhogpur Rishikesh. She was later found dead with her dead body recovered from the river. It is believed that she was being pressurised to oblige a VIP but after she refused to do so she was killed by throwing her in the river or first killing her n then pushing her in Ganges. Her front teeth were broken giving the clear idea that she was hit before murdering her. All the three arrested culprits Pulkit Arya, Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit were interrogated by STF and a five hundred page charge sheet prepared with 100 witnesses n more than thirty documented evidence to be submitted in the court on Monday said ADG, V Murugeshan while addressing the press conference on Saturday.
