Lieutenant Shewta Sajwan Honoured with Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Pratibhavan Chhatra Samman 2026 at Garhwal Bhawan, New Delhi

Bringing laurels to Uttarakhand, Lieutenant Shewta Sajwan, a native of Rudraprayag, was honoured by Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha with the prestigious Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Pratibhavan Chhatra Samman 2026 at a function organized at Garhwal Bhawan, New Delhi.
Lieutenant Shewta Sajwan was felicitated for her remarkable achievement. Due to her official engagements, the honour on her behalf was received by her mother Mrs. Usha Sajwan and father Devendra Singh Sajwan, who is also an executive member of Garhwal Bhawan.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by social worker Mahavir Rana along with life members of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha, office bearers of the executive committee and members of the Mahila Karyakarini. On the occasion, Mrs. Nirmal Kotnala, Renu Uniyal, Seema Gusain, Devendra Joshi and other members and people from the community expressed happiness over Lieutenant Shewta Sajwan’s achievement and congratulated her.
Speaking on the occasion, the speakers said that Shewta Sajwan’s success is an inspiration for the daughters of Uttarakhand. She has brought glory to her family and society with her hard work and dedication. Those present at the function wished her a bright future and said that such achievements of daughters inspire other young women to move forward in the field of education and service.
