The former deputy chief minister of Rajasthan n former union minister youthful Sachin Pilot who usually remains at loggerheads with the Rajasthan chief minister has come out openly against the former union minister n party general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad castigating him for leaving the party at the time when it needed him the most. In a video released in the social media after the resignation of Ghulam Nabi Azad writing a three page long letter to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi Sachin Pilot extremely critical of Azad said that he rose from a small leader to, Youth Congress leader, MP, party general secretary , CWC member, union minister, CM of the state etc due to the Nehru Gandhi family n Congress and when the party needed him the most to wage a strong struggle on the pivotal issues of unemployment, inflation and Bharat Jodo Yatra etc he left the party leaving everyone in lurch. Terming the step of quitting Congress by Azad as unfortunate after posting his video in social media Sachin Pilot tweeted in hindi : The timing of Ghulam Nabi Azad ji is unfortunate. Today was the time of struggle after being on important positions of Youth Congress, MP, minister, chief minister etc. Whatever he wrote in the letter was beyond truth as he has, drifted apart from his responsibilities.
It may be recalled that similarly the former Uttarakhand CM Garish Rawat also came out against the veteran Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad terming him as opportunist and being a team B of Bhartiya Janata Party whose exit from Congress is an insult to lakhs of Congress leaders and workers. Rawat also said that the day he wrote agaist the Congress leadership a letter, he had made up his mind to leave the party and become the plan B of BJP. He rose from a grass root to top positions in the party n Congress government due to the obligation of the Nehru Gandhi family during his, association of five decades but left the party at such a critical time when it needed him the most to struggle against skyrocketing inflation, victimisation of Soniaji, Rahul etc by investigation agencies and Bharat Jodo Yatra initiative on 7 th August to be led by Rahul Gandhi.
