Garhwal MP Anil Baluni Meets Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Seeks Luxury DTC Buses for Uttarakhand Routes, Strengthening of Garhwali-Kumaoni Academies

New Delhi: National Media In-charge of Bharatiya Janata Party and Member of Parliament from Garhwal Parliamentary constituency Anil Baluni today met Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta at her office in Delhi Secretariat in a courtesy meeting and held meaningful discussion on various important issues related to Garhwal and entire Uttarakhand.
During the meeting, Baluni requested the Chief Minister to take necessary initiative towards starting modern luxury DTC bus service up to Ramnagar, Rishikesh and Kotdwar for the convenience of Uttarakhand migrants living in Delhi and for better connectivity with Uttarakhand.
He also requested for further strengthening of the Garhwali, Kumaoni and Jaunsari Academy and for the renovation and modernization of Garhwal Bhawan located in Delhi.
Expressing his gratitude, Baluni said that the Chief Minister showed great positivity and cordiality on issues related to empowering the rich folk language, culture of Uttarakhand and the interests of migrant Uttarakhandis connected with their roots.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta presented a shawl to MP Anil Baluni and accorded him a rousing welcome at her office, assuring to fulfil all the demands raised in the interest of Uttarakhandi migrants living in Delhi.
