Former Miss India Pacific World and former Miss India Anukriti Gusain joins BJP, though after elections

The daughter in law of the former cabinet minister in Uttarakhand government now in Congress having changed several parties like Congress ( twice) , BSP and BJP starting his political career as an independent Dr.Harak Singh Rawat, Anukriti Gusain who had contested the 2022 assembly election on Congress ticket and against whose father in law cases of ED and CBI are already registerd has today joined the Bhartiya Janata Party in the presence of the state BJP chief and RS MP Mahendra Bhatt expressing her complete faith in the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. This was however, nothing new as she was expected to join BJP as Anukriti had resigned from her parent party Congress during the elections though hadnot joined BJP then due reasons best known to her. Anukriti had been the beauty queen and had joined active politics after marrying to the son of the then cabinet minister Dr.Harak Singh Rawat while he was in Congress probably in 2016. These days Anukriti Gusain’s family is in doldrums as there were raids by ED at various locations of her father in law in Dehradun, Delhi and Chandigarh where allegedly Crores of Rupees and objectionable documents were impounded including a large inverter from the Doon University precincts owned by Dr Rawat etc. There have been serious allegations against Dr. Rawat and his bureaucratic coterie in Forest department for cutting thousands of trees in Jim Corbett National tiger reserves and allegedly minting lot of money illegally etc.During the recently held elections the Bhartiya Janata Party had allegedly engineered a massive defection in the Uttarakhand with lot of former MLAs, defeated candidates, one MLA n his wife chairman of district panchayat against whom there was a case etc joining the BJP. Anukriti however joined after the election. According to Wikipedia Anukriti Gusain is an Indian model, activist and beauty pageant titleholder. She won the title of Femina Miss India Grand International 2017 at Femina Miss India 2017 pageant. She was previously crowned Miss India Asia Pacific World 2014 and represented India at Miss Asia Pacific World 2014. The Uttarakhand president of BJP welcomed Anukriti at BJP office in Dehradun in the presence of lot of state BJP leaders and activists. During the election when journalists posed questions about the possibility of Dr.Harak Singh Rawat joining BJP the state chief had put the ball on central BJP’s court saying that the central high command may take decision on his arrival if any, and the state BJP is not entitled to taking decision on him as he was admitted earlier in Congress in the central BJP’s instructions n directives.
