Former chief minister Harish Rawat is 75 years old but is extremely mobile, always on the move relating to party works. He is proactive in social media as well and hardly a day is left when his post doesn’t appear on either Facebook or Twitter.
For mediamen covering Congress in Uttarakhand and digital media, he is a good source of news. Though Rawat is quite active in Uttarakhand politics, the leaders of Congress couldn’t see him eye to eye as they consider him their bete noire and think that he should retire and sit still home than creating hurdles for the younger politicians in Uttarakhand.
