India will not tolerate the insult of martyrs.Youth Congress activists protest n court arrest against the extinguishing of Amar Jawan Jyoti.

New Delhi, 21 January 2021:

Hundreds of Youth Congress activists took out a protest march against the extinguishing of the Amar Jawan Jyoti on Friday. Many Youth Congress workers participated in the protest march under the leadership of National President Srinivas BV and also courted arrests.

Addressing the IYC protestors before courting arrest the national president of IYC Srinivas BV said that the flame whose name is ‘Amar Jawan Jyoti’, after all, is being extinguished, questioning the reason behind this arbitrary decision?

Criticizing the BJP led NDA government for insulting the martyrs sho sacrificed themselves while fighting enemy forces IYC chief said the present government is repeatedly doing the work of humiliating the martyrs of the country by extinguishing the flame at Amar Jawan Jyoti which is not only a shameful act but also an insult to the courage and sacrifice of the heroes who had split Pakistan into two pieces in the 1971 war. No patriot will tolerate BJP’s conspiracy to erase the history of valor said Sriniwas BC. . This attitude of Modi government of insulting martyrs is very disgusting he added.

IYC chief Srinivas BV also said that it is very sad that the government is arguing that this decision was taken due to budget constraints. It is, when the government can buy an airplane worth thousands of crores, then can it not take out the budget for the flame burning for the martyrs asked IYC chief . BJP government will never understand patriotism and sacrifice he added. He also said that the Congress party will once again light the Amar Jawan Jyoti for the soldiers of the country in future.

Indian Youth Congress’s National Media In-charge Rahul Rao said that the government has extinguished Amar Jawan Jyoti forever while playing with the sentiments of crores of countrymen. Many Youth Congress workers took part in the protest march against this act of the government, during were arrested and packed in DTC buses literary pushing them inside.
