Harish Rawat visits Kedarnath before PM’s visit, seeks Lord Shiva’s blessing

After being relieved from the incharge ship of Punjab including national general secretary’s post in order to fully concentrate in Uttarakhand election campaign in his capacity as the chairman of Uttarakhand election campaign committee, for CM Harish Rawat today visited historic Kedarnath shrine prior to the scheduled visit of prime minister Narendra Modi on 7 th November.

The political observer say that Rawat’s visit to Kedarnath Dham to seek blessings of Lord Shiva when elections are round the corner bear political reasons and meaning especially when prime minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate various renovation projects at the Temple site, the work on which had started quite before inspected by prime minister during his earlier visits.

The former CM Harish Rawat too has taken several initiatives to commence innovative works at the temple site while he was the state CM during 2014 to 2017 and claimed appreciation from the people. After the BJP came to power in Uttarakhand in 2017 and subsequent visits of PM Narendra Modi to Kedarnath Dham several projects for construction of Dharamshalas, roads n other development works were announced by PM Narendra Modi and CM Trivendra Singh Rawat with OM personally inspecting these works. After offering prayers at the Temple and seeking blessings veteran Congress leader Harish Rawat was seen dancing at the Temple venue with a saint holding a “TRISHUL AND DAMRU” Chanting slogans hailing Lord Shiva. In a tweet posting his picture in a tweet Congress leader Harish Rawat tweeted : HAR HAR MAHADEV, TODAY SOUGHT THE BLESSINGS OF LORD SHIVA ( BABA KEDAR) MAY LORD SHIVA SHOWER HIS BLESSINGS ON ALL OF US # HAIL LORD KEDARNATH, HAIL LORD SHIVA tweeted former CM Harish Rawat.

In another tweet yesterday Harish Rawat claimed that several leaders from BJP who had earlier left Congress are eager to join the Congress party. He tweeted as per ANI tweet : Those who had left the party want to come back, n many from. BJP also want to join Congress. There is a situation of instability in BJP. Many people ( want to join Congress) … Can’t take so many, but those who are worthy, we will take them said Harish Rawat as, per ANI tweet.
