Uttarakhand wins its second Gold, Kudos Maharashtra in the top by winning fifteen Golds in the national games being held in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand has won the second gold medal in the national games which were inaugurated by the prime minister Narendra Modi at Dehradun in a glittering function.

This gold medal has been won by an outstanding participant Reena Sen in the water sports Kenai Salaayam C- 1 Competition of 38 KHELO India Games held at Phulchatti under the jurisdiction of Yamkeshwar Tehsil, Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

Rena Sen the recipient of prestigious Gold medal will be presented a cheque of Rs.12 lakhs being one of the biggest amount in these games.

The second winner bagging the Silver medal in this competition is Pallavi from Madhya Pradesh while the Bronze medal recipient is Chetna Bhagwati from Andhra Pradesh reveal the latest news report.

On the other hand under the make category K1 Male Kayaking Salalam Competition Pradyuman Rathore of Rajasthan has won the Gold medal while Dheeraj Singh of Uttarakhand has won the Silver and Pinshengayin Kurbah of Meghalaya has won the Bronze medal.

Prior to this Gold medal, Achim Tapas has bagged the first prestigious Gold medal for Uttarakhand sending jubilant feeling among all.

This gold was won in the game in Vushu’s Taolu competition. Vachil is primarily from Imphal Manipur and has been serving in Info and Techno Solution Company for more than a year.

While winning these two prestigious Gold medals by girls and Silver in men’s category has enhanced the prestige of Uttarakhand, in the badminton games too in the single badminton Competition of 38 national games Suryaksh Rawat has played outstandingly defeating his rival – winning the Silver medal.

Similarly in women’s double category badminton competition Aanya Bisht and Angel Punera have defeated their rivals hands down winning the Silver medal bringing laurels for the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand.

In Male double Competition Sohail Ahmed and Chayanit Joshi have won the Bronze.

Similarly in Women’s double Rawat duo Gayitri and Suman Rawat achieved the Bronze medal.

This achievement specifically seems to be outstanding because prior to these prestigious medals earlier there had been no participation of the Badminton players in national games from Uttarakhand.

This time surprisingly four prestigious medals have been won by these outstanding players in Badminton. Kudos.

Going by the tally of medals in the ongoing national games in various locations of Uttarakhand after seven days – Karnataka is on the second top winning twenty two Gold medals and ten Silver, ten Bronze medals each. In all it has won forty two medals coming in the top. The services sports control board is in the second position winning 19 Gold, ten silvers and nine Bronze medals. Maharashtra has topped leaving Karnataka behind winning in all 61 medals comprising of 15 Gold, 26 Silver and 20 Bronze medals. Manipur has won 11 Golds, ten Silver and five Bronze medals coming on the fourth position whereas Madhya Pradesh stands in fifth position winning ten Gold, five Silver and five Bronze medals.
