Members of parliament of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha of different parties will play cricket match on Sunday in national stadium
Will the members of parliament representing different ideologies diametrically opposite to each other who fight in Parliament creating acrimony beyond control also fight with each other in the same spirit in cricket stadium if they play a friendly match is a moot question. This is so because this Sunday is going to be a special day and ocassion for the members of parliament representing various parties who will play friendly cricket match in the national stadium of Delhi for a noble cause of awareness to make the nation TB free and deaddicted as these days addiction of youths towards drugs has become a majorly worrisome affair in various parts of the country, especially among the rural youths. This competitive friendly cricket match will be held between the teams of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha comprising of mixed team of diverse ideologies representing different parties. The main organiser of this match , union state minister of finance Anurag Thakur has said that he is also trying to approach the leader of the opposition and Congress heavy weight Rahul Gandhi as well as Samajwadi Party chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav to include them in the team of Lok Sabha. Such friendly matches are held occasionally by parliament members, within Bollywood teams and Delhi police verses journalists etc. It remains to be seen as to our MPs who create so much noise in parliament on significant issues will really score sixers and fours with the same spirit or not.
