Dead body of 17 year old Ayush Patwal of Nainidanda block found. Selfie cost he precious life !RIP

The dead body of 17 years old Ayush Patwal, originally hailing from Nainidanda block , district Pauri Garhwal who had jumped from Ompul at Haridwar into Ganges to take bath on 18 February has been recovered by the SDRF divers from Bishenpur, Pathri area at Haridwar after extensive search. Ayush Patwal along with his friends had gone to Haridwar for excursion and thought of taking bath on the bank of ganges taking adventurous selfies but got swept away in the uncontrollable high tides of the Ganga. The SDRF personnel ( divers) tried their best to locate Ayush in the hope that he is alive but of no avail. Sadly his dead body was retrieved by the SDRF divers and local police at Bishanpur, Pathri precincts finally sent for postmortem for (inquest) detailed examination. There are reports that the curious and enthusiastic youths were busy making videos that cost Ayush his precious life. These days such adventurous videos are being made in running trains, in rivers and adventurous sports by enthusiastic social media loving youths risking their lives having met their tragic ends in number of cases. Those who retrieved the dead body of Ayush Patwal during the search operation were head constables : Kapil Kumar, Balbir Singh, Ramesh Bhatt, Navin Singh Bisht, Guddu Kumar, paramedic Anuj Kumar, technician Suleman Tyagi, driver Anand Kumar and others. The Congress leader Dhirendra Pratap has expressed his deepest condolences on the tragic demise of Ayush Patwal urging adventurous youths not to rush their lives on account of making selfies. Rest in Peace.
