A major road accident occurred on the Lathi-Majkhet road near Shama Bhanar in the Kapkot area of Bageshwar district. A Bolero car carrying wedding guests suddenly lost control and crashed. Initial reports indicate that 8 to 10 people were injured.
Upon receiving information about the accident, police, SDRF, and revenue teams rushed to the scene. The 108 ambulance service has also been activated. Doctors at the district hospital have been put on alert. The administration is continuously monitoring the situation.
