POPULAR RAPPER AND SINGER HONEY SINGH AND HIS, WIFE SHALINI SEPARATED BY THE DELHI COURT

Usually the family lives of majority of celebrities , actors, singers etc have not been smooth but in doldrums. Though the number is unlimited but the names of few like eminent singer Adnan Sami, actors – Raghuvir Yadav and Nawazuddin Siddique were in too much news for having protracted legal spats with their wives fighting the divorce cases in various courts finally reaching out separation amicably. Yesterday, another young extremely renowned rapper and singer carrying the fan following in several millions Honey Singh and his wife Shalini Talwar have been separated legally in Delhi Court with their divorce fructifying and the terms settlement kept in a sealed envelope in a Delhi court.

Honey Singh, a popular rapper and singer and his wife Shalini were finally granted divorce after a 2.5 year hectic legal battle filed by the couple in a Delhi Court.

Kindly recall that Honey got married to Shalini Talwar  in January 2011 and in September 2022, after 2.5 years of marriage, a divorce petition was mutually moved in the family court under section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, after Hiney’s wife had levelled serious allegations of physical violence and torture of various nature, physical, mental, emotional, psychological and economic.

The court accepted the petition granting them an interregnum period of six months. The court granted the decree of divorce to Honey Singh and Shalini finally putting the lid on the 2.5 years of legal battle between them.

The court after giving them six months time to retry for a patch up if possible, the divorce finally fructified after the rapper refused to live with his wife on the final question by the judge.

Kindly recall that he petition was filed by Shalini Talwar in a Delhi court accusing the renowned rapper and singer husband for thrashing her very often leading to mental, physical, emotional and sexual torture also making her suffer economically. She levelled charges of physical violence against Honey Singh.

However, both of them finally withdrew the charges against each other after the Delhi court granted them divorce under mutual amicable settlement. According to the settlement reached between Honey and Shalini, the rapper will pay Rs. One crore to his former wife. Though the divorce has been cleared, a next date has been fixed for 20 March 2023 which will ensure if the settle conditions have been fulfilled or not.
