LG Delhi gives nod for review petition in late Nirbhaya of Najafgarh case in Supreme Court on behalf of government to be led by SG Tushar Mehta !

It is a first step victory for the aggrieved parents of late KIRAN Negi after the LG of NCT Delhi has given his due consent to file the review petition in Supreme Court against the recent acquittal of three convicts who were earlier accorded death sentences by the lower Sessions Court of Dwarka and thereafter the Delhi High Court considering it a rarest of the rare case and accusing the obnoxious rapists and murderers as blood hounds.

However, after ten year of incessant struggle and legal fight by hapless and poor traumatised parents of late KIRAN Negi, the recent Supreme Court judgement has shattered their confidence for ever, when all the three culprits were acquitted scot free finding loop holes in the patchy Delhi Police investigations n lapses during the probe of the case.

Since then there had been immense annoyance, anger and frustration among Uttarakhandies especially the bereaved n shattered parents of late KIRAN Negi.

There had been numerous candle marches and protest demonstrations in Delhi n NCT with social media flooded with messages and posts denouncing this judgement as an attack on humanity and setting up of wrong precedence for future – especially for hardened criminals and rapists allegedly getting scot free after committing the heinous crimes.

The review petition will be filed by the government and Attorney General Tushar Mehta will appear on behalf of the government reveal the news stories.

In addition to this the chairman of the legal committee formed by GHS in Delhi Sandeep Sharma and his team of lawyers will be filing another review petition on behalf of the Uttarakhand community in Delhi including the parents of late KIRAN Negi.

The parents of KIRAN Negi had met the LG Vinay Kumar Saxena two days ago with Rajya Sabha MP and BJP national media in charge Anil Baluni urging him to deliver justice to the aggrieved family at the earliest.
