Garhwal Heroes and Northern Railways win the first Knock out matches at Kandoliya stadium in Pauri Garhwal

The national Football champion knock out matches are taking place at Kandoliya Pauri Garhwal , the event organised with full vigour and vitality.
The football fans from various parts of Uttarakhand and the Garhwal region have converged here and the matches have taken a very enthusiastic and curious turn with everyone enjoying compitition to the hilt.
On the third day of the National Football competition being held in the sprawling Kandoliya ground, the Northern Railways and Garhwal Heroes emerged victorious.
While the Northern Railways Football team’s victory took place against the rival MFC Gurugram, the Garhwal Heroes registered their victory against SKS,Ludhiana.
By staging victory in this prestigious knock out competition, the Northern Railways and Garhwal Heroes entered another round successfully in the starting matches.
The chief guest on the first day to give green signal for the start of the competition was Keshar Singh Negi with the first knock out match played between the Northern Railways and MFC Gurugram with the former showing the exemplary performance and finally winning against them entering the second round of knock out competition.
The Garhwal Heroes which has been credited for being the sixth time Delhi Soccer championship in the national capital territory this year has also played outstandingly well against their immediate rival SKS Ludhiana, thus giving another ray of hope to hundreds of football lovers who are Garhwal Heroes fans.
There was a controversy between the Garhwal Heroes and the S.K.S Ludhiana resulting in the match being delayed for twenty minutes.
The crux of the controversy was that when Garhwal Heroes hit their first goal against the rivals, the desperate SKS Ludhiana termed it as Half Side.
The players were seen constantly appealing but the Refree didnt budged and termed the goal okay.
However, the coach and one of the players didn’t agree and created the scene to which the referee showed the warning card and challenged the coach of the rival team.
The controversy finally ended and the game went ahead with the rival SKS Ludhiana not able to go ahead of the 3-1 lead given by the Garhwal Heroes or score more goals, finally Garhwal Heroes emerging victorious.
According to the news reports the second session of the competition between Garhwal Heroes and SKS Ludhiana commenced with immense enthusiasm with another chief guest, the international boxer and recipient of Dronacharya award Jaidev Bisht giving the go through.
The match started with an energetic note with Sidarth of Garhwal Heroes scoring a goal in the initial few minutes enhancing the morale of the Heroes.
Sidarth didn’t stop here , he again went ahead to score a second goal against SKS Ludhiana making everyone jubilant in the stadium.
However, in the 25 th minute the SKS Ludhiana scored a goal making the score to 2-1. But the Garhwal Heroes didn’t loose heart rather took on their rival more vigorously and with determination scoring the third goal taking the lead to 3-1 on 75 th minute of the game.
Finally the Garhwal Heroes won by 3-1 against their rival SKS Ludhiana.
The players who had been extremely outstanding in their performance leading the Garhwal Heroes win this match were Yogendra Patwal, Rajendra Rawat, Sudershan Negi, Rakesh Balodi, Deepak, SDS Rawat,Ravi Saklani, Jitendra Rai whereas the commentary was executed most dextrously by Inayat Hussain, Shailesh Joshi, and Pravin Negi.
