FORMER RAJASTHAN and CHATTISGARH CMs GEHLOT & BAGHEL APPOINTED SENIOR OBSERVERS OF AMETHI AND RAE BAREILLY. Priyanka to stay out till May 20 in both the constituencies

While there is the third phase of election in 93 constituencies with former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge appealing to 11 crore voters of 93 constituencies of the country to come out in large numbers and vote for your fundamental democratic, constitutional rights including to uproot dictatorship, the former chief ministers of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh viz Ashok Gehlot and Bhupesh Baghel have been appointed the senior observers of Amethi and Rae Bareilly, the Congress party’s traditional strongholds.
There are also reports that among others the former Uttarakhand chief youthful Ganesh Godiyal has also been selected as one of the star campaigners for Amethi and Rae Bareilly.
The general secretary of Congress and party’s chief campaigner Priyanka Gandhi has already reached Amethi and would be in Amethi and Rae Bareilly campaigning extensively for Rahul Gandhi and K.L.Sharma in both the constituencies.
According to sources she will be staying in both these constituencies till May 20 the day of fourth phase of election when Amethi and Rae Bareilly will go to polls.
The Gandhi family and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is in no mood to take any risk losing either of the traditional seats which are their strongholds especially since they have better chances of winning these two seats only in entire Uttarakhand Pradesh.
The Congress workers from other areas of Uttar Pradesh including senior leaders and both the senior observers Ashok Gehlot and Bhupesh Baghel will be stationed in both these constituencies ensuring that Rahul Gandhi and Kishori Lal Sharma win with a heavy margin raising the morale of Congress candidates in other constituencies as well and to defeat the vociferous leader if BJP Smriti Irani.
In Amethi and Rae Bareilly even the Samajwadi Party, BSP and to some extent local BJP workers are working hard to ensure the Congress candidates’ victory with a huge margin.
The massive developmental projects, hospitals, IITs, ITIs, health centres, factories of Railway wagons , pharmaceutical industry, NTPC, Schools, colleges etc opened by Nehru Gandhi family had accorded massive employment to the electorates for the last several decades.
The local populace don’t want to lose these seats at the hands of BJP as majority of the voters are repenting after electing the union minister Smriti Irani and defeating Rahul Gandhi. Smriti Irani is believed to have shut down the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital build decades ago annoying the electorates of Amethi.
This time Rahul has shifted to Rae Bareilly from Amethi after he lost in 2019 with a margin of 55000 votes thus retaining Wayanad, in Kerala. This time too Rahul is contesting from Wayanad as well as Rae Bareilly.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who is extensively campaigning for Congress candidates didn’t agreed to the party’s proposal to contest as she has a larger responsibility to ensure that the Congress wins from both the seats of Amethi and Rae Bareilly, the family’s traditional strongholds since the days of her grandfather Feroza Gandhi from Rae Bareilly , father Rajiv Gandhi from Amethi thereafter followed by the then PM Indira Gandhi, Arun Nehru, Dinesh Singh , mother Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi now.
It may be recalled that the people of Amethi are fed up with the current candidate of BJP, the sitting MP Smriti Irani and have pledged to ensure the loyalist of Gandhi family Kishori Lal Sharma’s victory with a heavy margin.
On the other hand Dinesh Singh of BJP who is a strong contender having won earlier is also a challenge for Rahul Gandhi but the electorates of Rae Bareilly and workers of Congress, Samajwadi Party and BSP including BJP to an extent are wholeheartedly supporting Rahul to make him victorious with a huge margin reveal sources.
The sitting MP from Rae Bareilly Sonia Gandhi has entered the upper house ( Rajya Sabha) from Rajasthan due to her deteriorating health compulsions but her heart lies with her son Rahul with whom she was present on the day of filing of nomination papers along with Priyanka and her husband Robert Vadra.
Meanwhile the Congress chief, veteran leader Mallikarjun Kharge write on social media platform X appealing to voters : Vote to save Constitution, Vote to protect Democracy ! 11 Crore people in 93 Constituencies shall exercise their democratic right, not just to elect their representatives, but shall decide whether they want to secure their Constitutional Rights or witness our great nation veer towards Dictatorship. I sincerely urge you to choose Democracy, so that our Institutions can return to their independent form and are not pressed under the thumb of brute power. We are right in the middle of the battle. A correct decision now, can create an India where NYAY i.e. JUSTICE is supreme.
