AAP got a huge shot in the Arm after Rouse Avenue Court issued order saying there is no specific evidence showing payment of bribes or kick back in alleged liquor scam

The AAM ADMI PARTY got a huge shot in the Arm today when the Rouse Avenue Court strongly slapped the ED by giving bail to two persons involved in the so called liquor scam and issuing an order of several pages giving AAP a clear cut clearance from the ongoing liquor scam saying that the evidences produced by the ED before the Court about allegedly first receiving Rs 100 crores and than coming down to 30 crores cash bribe from liquor dealers for formulating a new excise policy tremendously benefitting them have been nothing but a figment of imagination as the ED was not able to prove their allegations before the court furnishing baseless evidences etc.

In a tweet Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival wrote : Now even Court has said that there is no material evidence of any kickback or money laundering. We have been saying right from the beginning that entire liquor scam is bogus and meant only to malign AAP.

Delhi CM Kejrival enclosed the AAP tweet that there is no evidence showing any cash evidence of bribe or repayment of kickbacks.

According to the Court the only evidence presented has been some vague statements by witnesses, and on the basis of these statements it cannot be inferred that cash payment were made etc.

Delhi minister Aatishee addressed a press conference and asked BJP to seek public apologies for defaming the AAP for the last two years constantly holding press conferences and accusing it and its leaders on false, fabricated, concocted and baseless charges of accepting bribe on a so called liquor scam. She said the way they held regular PCs to false accuse AAP on fabricated charges the saffron party leaders should now seek apology from AAP by holding such regular PCs now after the Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to two men arrested in connection with this so called scam and gave the AAP a clean chit for not accepting a single rupee as bribe, thus giving them a clean chit.

According to the tweet posted by Aatishee the Court said : There is no specific evidence showing any such cash payment of bribe or repayment of kickbacks. The only evidence presented has been some vague statements made by witnesses and on the basis of these statements. It cannot be inferred that cash payments were given as bribes said the Rouse Avenue Court Order.

The BJP and ED had charged the AAP of spending the entire cash of bribe of Rs 100 crores in Goa but the Court clearly specified that in all Rs. 19 lakh cash was spend in Goa elections and no evidence put forth by ED to substantiate their charges by any means ruled the Court. Delhi minister Atishee charged the PMO for dictating the ED and CBI to cook false charges against AAP finally proved by the honourable Court giving AAP a clean chit.

Kindly recall that in February the Enforcement Directorate had arrested two Punjab based liquor traders namely Rajesh Joshi and Gautam Malhotra, the proprietor of Chariot Production Media Pvt Ltd for their alleged role to supply over thirty crores in cash to AAP for Goa Elections as bribe and kick backs etc. They were granted bail yesterday by the Rouse Avenue Court on the grounds that the evidences related to them submitted by ED in the Court weren’t legally tenable to prove their charges against them.

Meanwhile, the Delhi BJP leader and spokesman Harish Khurana while castigating AAP leader Aatishee said that if AAP is so very fond of reading the Court orders to give certificates of honesty and clearance then it should also read as to what had the court written about former Delhi CM Manish Sisodia while rejecting his bail. While rejecting the bail plea of the former Delhi deputy CM the Court had observed that he is a prime accused and a prima facie culprit in the case pronounced as the architect of the criminal conspiracy in the said liquor scam. Khurana, said why was the Delhi CM mum after the said observation of the Court in his deputy’s bail plea rejection.
