Indian Army’s Cheetah helicopter crashes in eastern Ladakh

An Army Cheetah helicopter crashed in the Shyok River area near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. Division Commander Major General Sachin Mehta and two pilots were on board. Fortunately, everyone survived the accident, although both pilots suffered minor injuries. Both the pilots demonstrated bravery despite the accident and took the selfied while on board.

According to the latest news the accident occurred on Wednesday, May 20. Following the accident, a unique photo emerged of the military officer taking a selfie to confirm his safety. This photo is now rapidly going viral on social media. Both the pilots, including a senior military officer, are safe.
