Two arrested for taking law into their hands by thrashing the Haryana guys in Rishikesh though FIR against eve teasing have also been registered against them ( Haryana guys)

The Rishikesh police has registerd two FIRS against the Haryana youths who have been charged for eve teasing on the complaint of a woman, the mother of an adolescent girl and also against those who have beaten the Haryana youths taking the law their hands.

The police have arrested two of them for beating the youth and taking the law into their hands.

The Superintendent of Police ( Dehat) Jaya Baluni said that the other day a woman on her scooty with her daughter on the back seat had stopped the car of Haryana number after her daughter complained against the Haryana youth eve teasing her and making objectionable gestures.

The woman got down from her bike and tried to question those boys as to why were they making objectionable gestures towards her daughter.

Meanwhile, the people from the crowd starting beating the Haryana boy making him naked and the video going viral in social media.

There was total choas on the Rishikesh road and the young man beaten on the road was bleeding from the nose.

There was traffic jam and few onlookers too thrashed him repeatedly. The police took this incident as taking the law into their hands and punishing the guilty themselves which is forbidden.

Jaya Baluni said that while the case has also been registered on the written complaint of the woman against the Haryana boys for eveteasing her daughter under the relevant sections of the BNS, the police arrested two boys for thrashing the Haryana boys and looking for others.

She said that while the Haryana boys will be brought to justice for their eve teasing acts those who thrashed them publicly on the road creating choas taking law into their hands will also not be spared.
