There is tremendous resentment among the Uttarakhand communities in Delhi in view of the tragic heartwrenching death of a 25 years old boy Kamal Dhyani few days ago in Janakpuri after plunging of his vehicle which he was riding in a seven metres deep pit, working in HDFC Bank , Rohini Delhi due the utter negligence, dereliction of duty of the Delhi Jal Board authorities demanding fixing immediate accountability of the responsible officers for this lapse and registration of FIR on the charges of murder against them.
There is also the demand for giving the financial compensation of Rs. One crore to the bereaved family and a government job in Delhi government to one members of the family of the deceased.
The Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha, a biggest social organisation of Garhwalies in Delhi has already written to Delhi CM in this regard on both the said demands including a protest demonstration already held in Delhi by Mahanagar Delhi Uttarakhand Pravasi Sangathan led by its chief Kamal Dhyani.
On Sunday also the Mahanagar Delhi Uttarakhand Pravasi Sangathan has given a call for holding a protest demonstration and Dharna in support of their demands for a government job to a member of the family, registration of FIR on murder charges against the responsible officers and grant of financial compensation of Rs. One crore to the bereaved family.
The Dharna cum demonstration has been fixed to be held at Joginder Singh Marg at Janakpuri, New Delhi on 15 th Feb, 2026 at 10 AM onwards .
The Mahanagar Delhi Uttarakhand Ravasi Sangathan volunteers have been relentlessly fighting for the cause of Uttarakhandies in Delhi and have help rescued several women and girls in distress in Delhi after kidnapping and crime against women etc.
