Delhi police cracks a robbery of Rs.1.5 crores at Inder Lok in two weeks and recovers the booty including arresting six hardened criminals
The Delhi Police, North Delhi Zone and Central Zone have been able to catch a notorious hardened gang of criminals who have looted Rupees 1.5 crores in abroad day light though one of the employees was involved in this conspiracy.
According to the joint Commissioner Central Zone Madhur Verma, IPS this cash robbery of 1.5 crores of rupees was committed on 10 th June by the six robbers at a gun point on motorcycles in broad day light sending panic all around. This robbery took place at the Flyover of Zakhira Inderlok. The Sarai Rohilla and DCP Raja Bamthia’s joint team swiftly got involved in the investigation of this robbery. Finally after the indepth investigations and the detailed dedicated efforts of the joint team the six hardened and professional criminals involved in this robbery were arrested which included two juveniles as well.
According to the joint commissioner, central zone, IPS Madhur Verma the cash of more than one crore of rupees have been recovered including the two wheelers and four wheelers used in this rubbery and arms n ammunition.
These criminals were so clever that they very well knew that the police will investigate this robbery through the CCTV footage therefore in order to confuse the police they continuously after and before committing the robbery incessantly changed vehicles using sometimes scooty, sometimes motorcycles and even four wheelers.
After committing the robbery all of them met at Tilak Nagar and distributed the booty finally going in different directions.
Another police officer leading the operation IPS, Raja Banthia, DCP North district revealed that it was after the hard and dedicated work of the joint police team that they were able to crack this robbery.
He disclosed that one of the employees bringing the cash was involved in this robbery who brought with him one of his accomplices Veeru. All the hardened criminals passed through several states during the last fourteen days viz Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Jammu Kashmir.
After following and tracking them continuously the police got information about these criminals returning back to Delhi and finally nabbed at Mukarna Chowk.
