After Dharali and Tharali the Chamoli ecological disaster at Nandnagar that resulted in ten persons missing obviously meaning their possibility of being buried under the debris at various locations with houses, shops and vehicles damaged badly, majority of them sweeping away due to the massive gushing deluge full of slit, muck and boulders , the SDRF, NDRF, ITBP,

police and other departments including health left no stone unturned to retrieved the dead bodies from under the rubble and also saved sever persons. They worked dedicatedly twenty four into seven. Thanks to their dedication and devotion. Several pictures exhibiting the deadly plight and the relief teams busy in their jobs providing relief to the people and other rehab works have been posted here for your kind perusal just to give you an idea of the horrible experience these sufferers have been confronting and the police, paramedics, health people, SDRF and others coming to their immediate rescue.

If may be recalled that massive rains and a cloudburst struck the Nandanagar area of Ghhat Tehsil in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, late last night, causing widespread destruction. The incident occurred around 1 AM, and so far, 10 people have been reported missing.

According to reports, yen people went missing from Kuntri Laga Phali village, including four members of a single family. Additionally, two people have been reported missing from Dhurma village.

Several houses and properties in the affected areas have suffered heavy damage. Relief and rescue teams have reached the site, and search operations are underway to trace the missing persons. Authorities have issued an alert across the disaster-hit region.
