Massive Landslide at Kodiyala Byasi, forty kilometres away from Rishikesh blocks traffic for hours together

A massive landslide at Kaudiyala Byasi on Badrinath highway about forty kilometres away from Rishikesh towards Devprayag has resulted in the road washing away and becoming extremely squeezed with no scope of passage gor vehicles this leading to tremendous inconvenience to the commuters.
This road is always busy and the traffic movement on this Highway is extremely hectic, particularly for the historic spiritual destinations Badrinath, Kedarnath, Hemkunth Sahib and Dhari Devi, with boulders falling from the top of the mountains during monsoon.
This particular landslide has finally proved as to how really dangerous it is to travel during the monsoons in Garhwal and Kumaon , Uttarakhand especially on Badrinath, Kedarnath route where traffic is immense and incidents of roads being damaged, caving in and landslides occuring in good number is extreme.
There are also reports of maximum accidents taking place on this route especially during monsoon due to slippery roads, landslides, breakage of roads in between and boulders falling from mountains.
After the Kaudila Byasi Badrinath road landslide the traffic in both sides have been completely blocked with vehicles incessantly coming and stopping at this spot creating quite a chaos.
Kaudiyala is a small village forty kilometres away from Rishikesh on Badrinath road.
