Cabinet expansion this evening. Anil Baluni and Ajay Bhatt may get place in union council of ministers. Tirath’s name missing ?

The first cabinet expansion is due for this evening at 6 PM with about 43 new ministers likely to be sworn in at Rashtrapati Bhawan. The centre can appoint 81 ministers in the council of ministers but at present there are 53 ministers including PM. Among the speculations of new cabinet and state ministers to be sworn in are Jyotiraditya Shinde, Madhya Pradesh, Narayan Rane, Maharashtra, Anupriya Patel, Uttar Pradesh, Sarvanand Sonoval, Assam, Minakshi Lekhi, Delhi, Ajay Bhatt, Uttarakhand, Pashupati Paras, LJP, Bihar, Anil Baluni, Uttarakhand n daughters of two late leaders of BJP, Pramod Mahajan and Gopinath Munde from Maharahtra and several others balancing the caste and states representative combination. There are reports of Sushil Modi, Pashupati Nath Paras, Rajiv Ranjan aka Lallan Singh, n Santosh Khushwaha being sworn representing Bihar, Jyotiraditya Scindia from Madhya Pradesh, Sarvanand Sonoval from Assam, Anupriya Patel, Varun Gandhi, Sarvanand Sonoval from UP, Meenakshi Lekhi, from delhi, Pashupati Nath Paras, LJP from Bihar and Pravin Nishad from Uttar Pradesh etc. The state minister of home Krishna Reddy and state minister of finance Anurag Thakur , including Rupala may be elevated to cabinet rank say the sources for their outstanding performance during their earlier tenure with Punjab getting a full fledged cabinet minister.

The prime minister has called union home minister, finance minister Dr. Nirmala Sitaraman, Party chief JP Nadda, Jyotirditya Scindia, Anupriya Patel, Scindia, Narayan Rane, etc to prime minister house this morning say the news reports.

Uttarakhand may get two ministers one Anil Baluni, chief spokesman and national IT media incharge and Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt whereas the name of former CM Tirath Singh Rawat is missing. These inductions are being made in view of Uttarakhand going to polls in 2022, balancing Kumaon and Garhwal regions. Garhwal already represents in central cabinet with Dr Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank as union education minister.

Now while Garhwal may have two ministers at the centre, Kumaon division will be represented by Ajay Bhatt as a singular minister with Uttarakhand having Pushkar Singh Dhami from Khatima as its newly elected 11 th CM. Bengal is already having two ministers Debashish Choudhary and Babul Supriyo who may be elevated say sources. Among these new entrants in the Modi cabinet are Narayan Rane former chief minister of Maharashtra and Sarvanand Sonoval former CM Assam. Eleven women are being accommodated in this expansion. Meanwhile as per the latest news Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Gangwar, Sadananda Gowda have been ousted from the cabinet.
