The two-day national executive meeting of the Indian Youth Congress concluded with the resolution of ” Youth Jodo, Booth Jodo”, President of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee and Lok Sabha MP Smt. Pratibha Singh and MLA Shri Vikramaditya Singh were present on this occasion. All the National Executive members of Youth Congress and State Presidents, were present in the IYC conclave under the leadership of its national president Srinivas BV and national In-charge and AICC Jt-secretary Krishna Allavaru .
Intense contemplation and discussions on many subjects took place, the meeting starting with the flag hoisting program, after which the national president and national in-charge of the Indian Youth Congress also addressed all the IYC invitees.
The main programs of the organization such as “Youth Jodo, Booth Jodo”, “Youth Connect Programme”, “One Booth Five Youth”, election management program in relation to the upcoming assembly elections including discussion in detail also took place regarding internal organization’s election and membership drive. Along with this, there were also deliberations of the country’s falling economy, rising inflation and unemployment, including other burning issues. Several strategies were also devised to deal with these critical situations adversely impacting the countrymen.
Many important resolutions were also unanimously passed from the point of view of strengthening the organization and deploring the anti people stand of the NDA government led by BJP.A resolution demanding that Shri Rahul Gandhi should be made the National President of the All India Congress Committee again, was also passed unanimously.
The Indian Youth Congress president Srinivas BV said that after the discussion in the two-day hectic meeting, the Indian Youth Congress has resolved to connect the youth till the last booth of the country. In the year 2018, the Indian Youth Congress had started the campaign “Aadhi Aabadi, Poora Hak”. It is our endeavor that women should be given their due asserted Sriniwas BV. He also asured that 33% women will be accorded place in the national body. He also said that all youth Congress members want Rahul Gandhi to accept the post of Congress President again and lead us all.
National In-charge of Indian Youth Congress and AICC Jt-Secretary Krishna Allavaru said that Unity in Diversity is the identity of India. To preserve this identity, the Bharat Jodo Campaign has been commenced. Youth Congress colleagues have resolved to take this campaign across the country through various means in the meeting of IYC’s , two days national executive.
