Two books in Garhwali dialect released at Garhwal Bhawan authored by eminent author Jagmohan Singh Rawat ” JAGMOHRA”.
Had extremely joyous moments at Garhwal Bhawan in the second session to release the book in Garhwal dialect viz Gunntyali the first one released in the first session started at 10 in the morning at Garhwal Bhawan premises in which I could not participate.
I thank the brilliant author in Garhwali dialect and a poet as well, Jagmohan Singh Rawat, ” Jagmora” for authoring both the books thus promoting the enriched Garhwal dialects all his life while being a class A Gazetted officer having participated in unaccounted number of social and academic functions of book releases, poetry conventions and also endeavouring to include Garhwali, Kumaoni, Jaunsari languages in the eighth schedule of our Constitution with Dinesh Dhyani, eminent Garhwali, literateur. Jagmohan Singh Rawat” Jagmora”, is an outstanding and brilliant writer whose book Gunntyali is primarily based on “Phazal” Gunthyali ( Garhwali title”, known as Puzzle in English) an exceptional art to express various happenings in poetic or adjective manner called Paheli in Hindi left to either the author or intelligent Garhwali readers to understand the complex meaning of it.
This exceptional Phazal writing is exclusively the innovative writing of an outstanding author Jagmohan Singh Rawat in exclusive Garhwali dialect, being widely appreciated and lauded in Garhwali Society bringing the readers in close proximity to the grass root inhabitants of Garhwal, Uttarakhand thus encouraging cohesiveness in personal relationship and social closeness.
Prominent amongst those present in the book release function were author of both the books Jagmohan Singh Rawat ” Jagmora, his mother, Charu Tiwari, senior journalist, writer and literature, Sunil Negi, President of Uttarakhand Journalists Forum, Dhirendra Pratap, Vice President, Uttarakhand Congress, Rameshwari Nadaan, an author of several novels in Hindi based on Uttarakhand’s culture, Brijmohan Vedwal, actor, anchor n poet, Dinesh Dhyani, eminent Uttarakhand’s author, poet and literateur, Ramesh Ghildiyal, literateur, Lalit Keshwan, a signature poet n author, V N Sharma, former of Commissioner n leading social activist n philanthropist, Professor Harendra Aswal, Vinod Bacheti, politician, theatre activist Mohan Rawat , eminent poet Deendayal Bandooniji, etc.
This was indeed a grand function in which Charu Tiwari, Sunil Negi, Jagmoraji, Vinod Bacheti, Dinesh Dhyani, eminent poet Kaithuraji, Brijmohan Vedwal, Mahesh Chandra, n number of eminent poets expressed their pivotal views lauding great works of Jagmohan Singh Rawat” Jagmora” as a Garhwali thinker and an prolific writer.
The programme was attended by good number of poets, authors and social activists. Kindly recall that eminent poet and literaturer Jagmohan Singh Rawat ” JAGMORA” has so far authored 8 books on Garhwali Poetries and PAJAL COMPILATIONS in Garhwali and his 7 books are in pipeline, all under publication. A vivacious reader and prolific Garhwali writer Jagmohan Singh Rawat “Jagmora” has earned name and fame by virtue of his hard work and intellect in Uttarakhand’s intellectual fraternity.
