The heart and soul of Arya Samaj activities Mrs. Sushila Gambhir is no more. RIP

New Delhi—Mrs. Sushila Gambhir, the heart and soul of Arya Samaj activities in East Delhi, has passed away. She was 86 years old. Sushila was deeply involved in the Arya Samaj movement.

For more than six and a half decades, she had been organizing havans, yagnas, Veda recitations, and other religious and social events at Arya Samaj Shahdara and Krishna Nagar. Sushila was born in Multan (now Pakistan).
Sushila Gambhir was also actively involved with several Punjabi and Multani community organizations in the capital. A condolence meeting will be held in her memory today, June 25th, at the Swami Narayan Akshardham Temple.

It should be noted that her son, Surendra Gambhir, is also involved in the management of several prestigious schools in the capital. Remembering Sushila’s simplicity, dedication, and social service, well-wishers are paying tribute to her.
