Suspended 141 MPs not allowed to enter gallery, chambers and Lobby of parliament . Circular issued !
Nearly 141 members of parliament suspended from the entire session now, a record of sorts during the ongoing winter session in the month of December will now not be allowed to even enter chambers, lobby and parliament gallery, never ever heard or seen before in the parliamentary history. According to the latest news a circular has been issued with regard to the Lok Sabha Secretariat revealing that not only this but the suspended MPs if member of the parliamentary committee would not be able to participate in any proceedings including no business would be listed in the name of the suspended MPs of either house of parliament. The circular issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat clearly states that in addition to all this no notice would come on the table of the suspended MPs including no daily allowance would be paid and shall not be allowed to participate in the election of the parliamentary committee if any. It may be recalled that the Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla had on Tuesday suspended 49 MPs for their unruly behaviour in the house after a resolution was brought by the state parliamentary affairs Minister Arjun Meghwal. The suspension of the 49 MPs from the Lok Sabha’s remainder session took the total numbers of MPs suspended during this session from both the houses to 141 which is the largest number of suspended MPs in a single session in the parliamentary history. Among these expelled MPs are also those who had been suspended today viz former J& K CM Faruque Abdullah, Shashi Tharoor and Karti Chidambaram of Congress, Supriya Sule of NCP, ( daughter of Shared Pawar) and Dimple Yadav, wife of Akhilesh Yadav and SP MP Dimple Yadav. The speaker had wrapped same charges (of not letting the house function ) against them. It may be recalled that after the biggest security breach in the Lok Sabha there have been protest by the opposition MPs inside parliament demanding a, statement from PM and HM on this issue in the floor of the house as to how would they guarantee the security of parliament and the members in future etc. They also said that they won’t allow the government to intervene in this sensitive issue as the security of the parliament comes under the purview of the speaker. The leader of the opposition and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge had also blamed the PM and HM for this biggest security breach saying that they don’t give statement on this issue in the house instead suspended 141 MPs for airing their dissent and demanding statement from PM and HM.
Very nice and strict action by the Govt. These MPs are behaving worst than the school students…
The speakers should be more strict.
Birla ji and Dhankad jee must be appreciated.
