Senior ( Retired) Scientist Ram Prasad Dhyani is no more. Breathed his last in Delhi

There is a shocking news for Uttarakhand. Leading scientist Ram Prasad Dhyani has breathed his last at the age of 94 at his Delhi residence. Originally hailing from Nainidaanda block he was living with his daughter and son in law. Born in 1930 in Jadaukhand , Sangliya in Nainidaanda block of Pauri Garhwal district Veteran scientist after retirement used to visit his hometown but was staying in Delhi with his daughter and son in law and tremendously revered in Uttarakhand’s social circles. A highly learned and dedicated student since his childhood days Ram Prasad Dhyani Sir studied in primary school Kochiar , passed middle from Nainidaanda and intermediate from Jehrikal Landsdowne . He pursued his BSC and MSC from Dehradun finally pursuing his PhD from Delhi and thereafter joining as scientist in Pusa Physical Laboratory. He resigned from Pusa as senior scientist in the year 1990. Ram Prasad Dhyani was quite active in social circles of Uttarakhand and was also writing articles in social media platform with regard to problems if the hilly regions. He was also instrumental in opening a Nursery in Jhaukhaandh but could continue it due to the non cooperation of the concurrent governments. The Uttarakhand fraternity in Delhi is shocked to hear about the sad news of his demise. Om Shanti.
