Red Car of Delhi’s registration number with a dead body found clandestinely stationed at Badrinath Marg, near Narkota village in Garhwal, Uttarakhand

A red car with Delhi number plate has been found stationed near Narkota village on Badrinath Marg between Dhari Devi and Rudraprayag today creating quite a panic as the abandoned car when opened by the police found a dead body inside its back trunk giving a foul smelling as it was decomposed.

The local police has taken the dead body in their possession and after completing all the necessary legal formalities sent it for examination by the forensic experts.

The information about the Red Car stationed on the road side near Narkota on Badrinath Marg, Garhwal was given by one of the Railway project staff working there.

After the Kotwali police Rudraprayag was informed, the senior officer reached there and took the dead body in their possession.

The Police DSP Vikas Pundir said that the precincts where the Red Car is stationed has now been kept secured as the forensic experts are being summoned to take the necessary finger prints and other evidences to nail the culprits. The Forensic team from Pauri township had already reached the spot and taken the necessary evidences.

The car number etc is being verified to locate the owner of the car to reach to the culprits.
