There is confusion of her caste name, with some claiming that she is, Lakhera from Uttarakhand but the fact remains that her actual name is Avani Lekhara, not Lakhera hailing from Jaipur, Rajasthan but not from Uttarakhand. Entire India is proud of Avani Lekhara for having scripted a history winning the first ever gold in Paralympics n in shooting as well.
