After the serious security breach in Lok Sabha of the new parliament building today where two persons literally jumped from the visitors gallery with smoke canisters lightening them and jumping on the MPs desks, desperately crossing them with full speed, being thrashed repeatedly by several MPs, the Lok Sabha, speaker OM Birla took a formidable decision to install full body scanners in all the gates of the new parliament building and precincts including revitalising its security apparatus.
According to the news pouring in, while the leader of Congress party Arindam Choudhary said that the men who breached the parliament security were carrying gas canisters, in an all party meeting of MPs chaired by the speaker OM Birla, the latter said that all body scanners will be installed in Parliament house and its all the gates to avoid such security breach blunders in future including reviewing it total security appratus.
There were total 6 persons involved in this impasse, one of them being a woman.
During the all party meeting of member of parliaments the security issues were raised in view of today’s security breach in parliament reminiscing of the dreaded incident that took place inside parliament precincts in which several security personnel of parliament and paramilitary were sacrificed today in the year 2001. Today was the 22 nd anniversary of attack on Parliament in the year 2001.
The terrorists were Pakistan sponsored belonging to Lashkare Taiyeba and Jaish E Mohammed, Pakistan based terror organisations.
Today’s incident coincided with the attack on parliament 22 years ago, being its anniversary.
While raising his point to revitalise the security of parliament house, the Lok Sabha Congress MP Aridham Choudhary said that apprehensions were already expressed that on this day there may be such attempts but nobody heeded to this fact and the incident happened today. Why has the breach happened and what were the lapses, questioned the Congress MP?
In all there are six persons involved in this impasse. Two were inside the new parliament building raising slogans ” TANAASHAHI NAHI CHALEGI”, (DICTATORSHIP WILL NOT BE ALLOWED) creating panic by opening the smoke cannisters being thrashed by MPs. Two other, one a girl and another 25 yesr old boy opening the yellow smoke candle outside parliament house, in front of Transport Bhavan, being caught by the police.
The vociferous 37 year old girl was shouting that we are employed, have no jobs and our voices are being stifled etc. Two boys who jumped inside the Lok Sabha and opened smoke candle raising slogans were Sagar Sharma from Lucknow, unemployed and D. Manoranjan from Mysuru, Karnataka. Sagar was an auto driver said his mother.
Neelam who was unemployed and arrested outside parliament precincts is a highly qualified women having qualified BA, MA, BEd, MEd, CTET, MPhil and NET. Two others are absconding. It may be recalled that the BJP two term member of parliament from Mysuru Karnataka Mr. Pratap Simha had signed the entry pass of the culprits in parliament.
the Anti terror cell which is investigating the matter and interrogating the culprits has registered an FIR under UAPA, terrorist prevention act.
