Tragic accident in Lohaghat: Driver Beniram lost his life while saving the lives of 34 passengers. Salute to the bravery of Beniram.
Roadways bus driver Beniram displayed remarkable courage, presence of mind, and dedication in a tragic road accident on the national highway in Lohaghat. Instead of panicking when the bus’s brakes suddenly failed, he rammed the out-of-control bus into a roadside wall, saving the lives of 34 passengers on board.
Unfortunately, while trying to save the passengers, driver Beniram himself lost his life. His sacrifice will always be remembered.
As a driver, he put his duty above all else and fought for the safety of the passengers until his last breath. His courage and dedication are an inspiration to us all.
Heartfelt tributes to the late Beniram. May God grant peace to the departed soul and give the bereaved family the strength to bear this immense loss.

The government of Uttarakhand should adequately compensate the bereaved family financially and a job to next of the kin in government service including a state award for his bravery and sacrificial services.
