Lest we forget…

In the euphoria about the unprecedented Congress victory in Karnataka, let’s not forget this one meeting on March 24.
Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha seat had been declared void by a Gujarat Court.
There was confusion among the Congress leaders to decide the next course of action.
Finally it was Priyanka Gandhi who made the suggestion to make the Karnataka election a comeback vehicle instead of doing something merely symbolic.
Let me quote a news report
“One MP said that all MPs of the party should tender a mass resignation. No final decision has been taken on this yet. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that a reply should be given to this (disqualification) through party’s victory in Karnataka polls. A Committee will be formed to take further decision on the next course of action,” sources from the meeting told news agency ANI.
Which proves my point that Priyanka Gandhi has a very sensible head on her shoulders.
Unfortunately hers is a lone voice among those surrounding the leadership in the party.
I also learn from my sources in AICC that she is not accessible to the AICC as her team does not co ordinate with them.
Which is very unfortunate.
At a time when every small effort counts to counter the obscene and gross propaganda launched by the IT Cell supported by what is called Godi media the voice of a leader like Priyanka Gandhi who has her heart among the people and the victims of atrocities anywhere in the country needs to be heard more.
But there seems to be a lobby that is out to pit Rahul vs Priyanka or Rahul vs Sonia all the time.
Which is not true and this mischief must be nipped in the bud.
