A very heart wrenching news has come from Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
A ten year son of Anand Lal of village PAITOLI, DUNGREE, Thalisain , Garhwal, Uttarakhand has been seriously injured , especially on the face when a wild bear attacked him.
He was taken to the nearby hospital and is under treatment. His both the eyes and the face with deep wounds have been bandaged.
The wild bear has with its dreaded paws grievously injured the boy on his face, with his eyes too affected by the deep wounds.
The boy was attacked on 5 th night at 11.00 PM.
The wild bears and maneaters have been attacking the human beings and entering villages during midnight.
The children, women and the aged are their victims with the wild life and forest department just drawing a sorry figure, unfortunately.
Few days ago in Kaljikhal block a wild powerful bear had literally attacked a Cow shed , destroyed it from the top and sides and grievously injured the cows as despite its best efforts it couldn’t succeed to take the domestic pets with him.
Earlier to that it has killed several goats in another village giving a dreaded look of a white face a the entire body like a black bear but walking and running surreptitiously in the jungles nearby like a human.
