LATE KIRAN NEGI’S PARENT meet Uttarakhand CM at Uttarakhand Sadan in Delhi n urge him for his cooperation !

The parent of the Damini of Najafgarh Mr. Kunwar Singh NEGI and his wife met the chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami at Uttarakhand Sadan and submitted him their representation urging to file a review petition in Supreme Court against the acquittal of the three convicts who’d gruesomely killed their 19 year old daughter after obnoxiously gang raping her in the outskirts of Rodhai village in Haryana on 9 th February, 2012. Both the culprits were accorded death sentence by the lower Dwarka sessions Court and upheld by Delhi High Court branding them as blood hounds of the rarest if the rare case. After ten years of hectic and relentless struggle the aggrieved parents were badly shattered after the judgement of the supreme Court three judge bench acquitted the three murderers n rapists on account of Delhi police’s patchy investigations founding several loop holes in the probe process. The parents were given a patient hearing by the chief minister who assured them of all possible support and help. In a meeting held few days ago in Garhwal Bhawan in which parents of the Nirbhaya of Najafgarh were it was unanimously decided to request the CM to provide a job to the brother of the victim as the family is financially and emotionally shattered. It was also resolved to ask CM to provide all financial help during the filing of the petition by the legal committee formed by Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha. Two days ago the anguished parents also met the for Uttarakhand CM and Anil Baluni. A meeting was also arranged with the Delhi LG Vinay Kumar Saxena who has today declared that a review petition is being filed in Supreme Court to be represented by ASG Tushar Mehta. The Uttarakhand CM had two days ago spoken with Kunwar Singh NEGI on phone and assured of all possible assistance to them saying that late KIRAN NEGI was the daughter of Uttarakhand, hence it is the state government’s moral duty to help them. He had also told them about his talk with law minister KIRAN Rijuju and Charu Khanna, advocate in the case.
