Former UK CM’s daughter duped of several crores under the pretext of giving her the main role and sharing hefty profits. FIR lodged
Uttarakhand’s news channels and digital media are full of news about the former Uttarakhand chief minister and former Education minister at the centre’s daughter Arushi being cheated of several crores of rupees by a film producing company in lieu of returning her back the amount with 15% interest in case she didn’t like the script and also giving her the main role in this film. She was duped for giving her a main role and sharing a good profit ( three times) out of the proceeds of the movie. However nor did they got the profits nor the film.
According to the latest news the elder daughter of Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank , former Ukhand CM and union minister of Education , author of several books and producer of Uttarakhandi film Major Nirmala etc , Arushi , a celebrated dancer as well, had signed an agreement with the producers of Mumbai Mansi Varun Bagla and Varun Kumar Bagla for offering her a lead role in the film produced by them and sharing three times the profit of the amount of Rs. Five crores allegedly given to them by Arushi.
An FIR has been registered in the Police station of Kotwali, Dehradun in this regard mentioning that an agreement was signed between the producers of Himshree Films and Mini films on 9 th October 2024 on certain conditions mentioned in the FIR.
According to Arushi believing in the assurance and agreement that a main role will be offered to her and script given to her and if it doesn’t suits her they will return the entire amount with 15 percent interest on it , Arushi trusted on them and have paid the first instalment of Rs two crores to the producers as named above.
After receiving the first instalment of Rs. Two crores by the Baglas ( producers) thereafter they received another one crore on 19 th November followed by Rs 25 lakhs on 27 October on different pretexts, and requests including finally Rs. 75 lakhs on 30 th October.
According to the news reports the Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami had been the chief guest in the inauguration ceremony of the film’s set.
Sensing the producers being non reliable and fishy Arushi lodged an FIR in the Kotwali Police station for stringent legal action against the producers and returning back of her huge amount of Rs.4 crores duped from her in the name of making a film.
The Uttarakhand police is deeply investigating the case to unravel the truth behind the complaint and to bring the alleged culprits to book.
