The press conference of Sandeep Dikshit, who is contesting against former Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal hides more than it reveals.
Throughout his PC for a select group of electronic journos, although he was apparently attacking the claims of the Aam Aadmi Party but the undertone clearly made out that he was taking on Kejriwal on a personal level because he had levelled corruption charges against his mother Sheila Dikshit who was three time Chief Minister of Delhi.
For that any stick is good enough to avenge the insult of Sheila Dikshit even if it comes from the BJP.
Asked why he was not even remotely attacking the BJP against which the LOP Rahul Gandh and party President Kharge have put their own egos at stake to create a pan India group called INDIA Sandeep said “There is no instruction from the High Command to have an alliance with the INDIA partners in state elections
That is only for the Lok Sabha.”
Although the PC lasted for about an hour Sandeep kept on saying that he was giving only a very small portion of the information available with him.
At this rate the INDIA group is coming to its end due to the egos of smaller leaders. The Congress leadership is once again committing the same blunder that it did in Haryana. In Haryana they allowed the local leaders like Randeep Hooda and Kumari Shailja to dictate terms and party stand in Delhi they seem to given Sandeep Dikshit a free hand. And this is going to hurt the INC in the long run.
