Seminar of PM’s flagship programme to eradicate TB from India by 2030 held by IHLD at IIC New Delhi

An extremely fruitful seminar was organised by Dr. Rahul Chandola and his prestigious Institute ” Institute of Heart Lungs Diseases Research Centre ” at India International Centre , Lodhi Estate, New Delhi with the mission to eradicate Tuberculosis from the country latest by 2030, the PM Narendra Modi’s flagship programme.
This healthy initiative of the IHLD with Krafton Korea led by Dr. Rahul Chandola in India and Mr. Saun of Korea to eradicate Tuberculosis entirely by 2030 was lauded by one and all present in the seminar with Mata Mangla Ji of Hans Foundation as the chief guest, Saint Trilochan Singh Ji as the special guest of honour and the Deputy Speaker of Delhi Assembly , five term state lawmaker Mohan Singh Bisht as guest of honour.
The seminar was attended by a good presence of doctors, surgeons, specialists of different fields in Medical Sciences, journalists, writers , social activists and businessmen across spectrum.
Addressing the august gathering the religious and spiritual leader Mata Mangla Ji heartily congratulated Dr. Rahul Chandola and his institute IHLD and the Korean company head Mr. Saun for their marvellous joint venture for a very noble cause of eradicating Tuberculosis from the country by 2030.
She also congratulated the eminent cardiac surgeon Dr. Chandola for leaving his lucrative profession in Canada and returning back to India for serving our countrymen and those in Uttarakhand, his Birthland.
Mata Mangla Mai said that doctors, surgeons are in true sense Gods who through their generous and kind efforts give new lease of lives to patients on death bed.
We are involved in religious actions and spiritualism to propagate truth and piousness in the society, trying our best to mould people to adopt right paths for building a society free from crimes, violence spreading brotherhood , amity and tolerance but the medical practitioners are our real saviours who practically cure us, give us a new lease of life when we are in critical health condition when even spiritualism doesn’t work except these doctors and surgeons who save our lives as practical Gods.
Throwing light in the good works being done by the Hans Foundation controlled by her daughter Shweta Rawat as one of its Directors living in United States Mata Mangla said that apart from a huge fully equipped hospital at Satpuli with the latest gadgets and medical equipments with good team of experienced doctors we have ten other health projects working in various states of the country among the villagers. While we provide medical treatment, care and free surgeries for cardiac patients and other critical illnesses , out twelve vans fully equipped medically are going to various villages in the interiors and helping kidney patients doing their dialysis at their respective houses.
Apart from this our target is to deliver 25000 patients free medical care including treatment of kidney ailments, heart diseases and other critical illnesses across the country.
We will operate free of cost critical heart surgeries across the country initially and several hundred patients have already been helped financially and medically with successful surgeries said Mataangla adding that the Hans Foundation guarantees expanding life saving healthcare initiatives at the pan India level including Uttarakhand ensuring that no one is left behind. She assured Dr. Rahul Chandola of her total support financially and otherwise in his new upcoming project of three hundred bedded hospital in Gurugram.
The chief of the Institute of heart lungs diseases and Research centre Dr. Rahul Chandola, a renowned cardiac surgeon and Pulmonologist while addressing the August gathering thanked Mata Mangla Ji of Hans Foundation saying that she has been of real support to him for operation of around sixteen patients of Uttarakhand by bearing their entire expenses thus giving the poor patients a new lease of life. He said that everyone including IHLD should fulfill the dream of PM Narendra Modi to eradicate TB from India by 2030.
Lauding the philanthropic nature of Mata Mangla and Bholeji Maharaj and their Hans Foundation Dr. Rahul narrated the incident as to how the poor patients from Uttarakhand numbering more than a dozen were financed by them enabling us operate them for cardiac complications thus giving the poor patients a new lease of life.
Explaining about his institute’s initiative with the Korean company to eradicate Tuberculosis from India he thanked Mr. Saun of Korea for his support and concern for this noble cause and said that we need to go to the people in the villages and use the latest gadgets to x-ray their chests and put them in regular treatment on widespread scale if we really want to bring TB to end completely in India.
Telling about their concentration in various parts of Uttarakhand Dr. Chandola said that recently they have tested five thousand people randomly in Haridwar and out of them ten percent were found to be infected by tuberculosis.
We have already started their treatment and are taking out campaign further ahead in the interiors of Uttarakhand with our latest X-ray machine which can give the results in few minutes whether the patient is suffering from Tuberculosis or not.
Dr. Chandola said that we need to take the TB eradication programme on wide scale and on time bound scale and basis.
Dr.Chandola stressed that unless we improve the healthcare at the grass roots levels and integrate tuberculosis with other health services including telemedicine and mobile health medicine with engagement of community health workers we won’t be able to achieve the target .
Hence there is broader need to make the anti TB campaign widespread, effective, percolating to the grass roots and educating the masses including giving them medicines in time , regularly and in a time bound manner.
This requires training , mobilisation, responsibility, accountability and ofcourse the medical doctors and paramedics taking a very good responsible care of TB patients.
Dr.Rahul Chandola immensely thanking Mata Mangla Ji for her incessant support, blessings and cooperation urged her to keep them blessing in their endeavours of the future so as to enable them cure as much as patients they can suffering from critical illnesses related to cardiac, lungs, kidney and tuberculosis, especially those from the lower ebb of the society. With the invaluable support of KRAFTON, we can turn this vision into reality by fostering community engagement and leveraging groundbreaking technologies.

The Sikh Guru Trilochan Singh spoke very high of Mata Mangla for her services and financial as well as medical support to the poor and lauded Dr.Chandola for his marvellous contribution in the field of treatment of the poor suffering from critical illnesses . He also thanked them for their untiring efforts in eradicating Tuberculosis from the country by 2030 assuring his personal support as well in all his future endeavours saying that he too is opening a hospital in the near future and look forward for the support and blessing of Mata Mangla.
The event was ably anchored by Mr. Chouhan. In the beginning of the seminar the guests were presented bouquets as a mark of reverence to them by IHLD.
