Activists # Justice for Ankita# demand CBI enquiry writing letters to PM with blood at Badrinath

Several Uttarakhand activists men and women today protested peacefully getting a video clicked and posting it in social media after protesting at Badrinath requesting the prime minister to take cognizance of late Ankita Bhandari case and order a CBI enquiry at the earliest. The peaceful protestors were displaying two letters in blood welcoming prime minister on his Uttarakhand visit requesting for CBI enquiry and death to the brutal murderers of Ankita Bhandari. The protesters were also seen singing in honour of the prime minister welcoming him to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Uttarakhand urging him to hear to their woes and do the needful as demanded at the earliest.

Yesterday at Rudraprayag activist and journalist OP Dimri and some of his colleagues who were heading for Badrinath were detained by the local authorities and not allowed to proceed further to present the memorandum to PM. The activists of Helang also submitted memorandum to the SDM at Rudraprayag highlighting their grievances regarding several ecological issues including cracks emerging in their houses and the land there in due to the so called unfriendly and unscientific intervention with the ecology n environment through certain projects being Environmentally unfriendly.

OP Dimri journalist n activist n his colleagues wanted to peacefully present a memorandum to prime minister Narendra Modi in connection with Ankita, Bhandari case demanding CBI enquiry into the case not satisfied with the ongoing STF probe.

Similarly two days, before several activists, men and women were detained at Rishikesh who were marching to Vanantara resort demanding CBI enquiry into the same case. The parents of Ankita too are not satisfied with the ongoing STF inquiry. The peaceful demonstrators were forcibly pushed into the private buses by the police and the national flags snatched from them. This yatra was given the name of TIRANGA YATRA. Prime minister Narendra Modi today reached Kedarnath Dham at 8.15 AM and paid obeisance to Lord Shiva amid chanting of rituals. He was wearing a traditional hand, woven Himachali attire known as Chola Dori. After Kedarnath he reached Badrinath Dham and paid his obeisance to Lord Vishnu.

Entire Badrinath Dham was decorated by tremendous amount of colourful flowers with prime minister raising his hands welcoming the onlookers. He inaugurated two ambitious road projects worth1000 crores at Mana- Manapaas, the last village of India and Joshimath Malati. He also inaugurated another project of 1163 crores of Hemkunth Sahib Ropeway projects. This is prime minister Narendra Modi’s sixth visit to Kedarnath Badrinath Shrines. According to the latest reports these peaceful protestors who wanted to meet the PM and, air their grievances were arrested at Pandukeshwar by the local police. They sat on hunger strike in protest thereafter.
