Activists jumped over Metro exit gates to participate in the Jantar Mantar protest and a man who had come for the treatment of his nephew detained by police
A video is going viral in social media in which youths are being shown emerging out of the jam packed Rajiv Chowk metro station jumping over the exit gates raising slogans. There were running and jumping over the exit gates in a hurry to participate in the protest. In one of the videos the activists of Bahujan Kranti Mission team are seen marching inside the Rajiv Chowk metro station towards the exit gates with their fusts raised raising slogans demanding the resignation of the CEC Gyanesh Kumar. In another typical case the Indian express reportedly showed a man being detained in a bus alongwith others pleading that he had come to Delhi for the treatment of his nephew at AIIMS ( admitted there) . He hasn’t eaten anything and had come to an MPs house for a recommendation letter but was detained by the police not hearing his repeated please. He was in pain saying that he is new to Delhi knowing nothing where to go but the police detained him saying that he had come to participate in the protest. Sounds shocking that a man’s nephew ‘s both the kidneys are damaged and his maternal uncle has been detained by the police. Shameful.
