Delhi CM Kejrival on a two day tour of Punjab. Gives a telephone number asking Punjab people to vote for a new CM face of AAP

The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal who is on a two day political tour of Punjab in connection with the campaign of his party, despite Delhi under Covid 19 n Omicron invasion with more than 26 thousand cases mounting up, has instead of declaring the CM face of Punjab announced a telephone number appealing the people to give their preferential choice on 7074870748 to elect their next chief minister after the AAM ADMI PARTY forms its government in Punjab. In a video posted on his twitter handle under the title Janta Chunegi apna mukhyamantri ( Public will elect their own chief minister, the Delhi CM said that it is for the very first time in India’s history that the people of Punjab will elect their own CM candidate.

This has never happened in India after getting independence said Kejrival. He said that we want that the people of Punjab are given freedom in a democratic setup to elect their own CM face, hence this exercise.

He appealed to the people to intimate via a phone call, through whatsapp or by way of recording their message latest by 17 th evening. This is a new exercise by any party till date added Kejrival.

It may be recalled that Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival who is also the national convenor of AAP, was addressing a press conference at Mohali with Sangrur MP and Punjab’s AAP chief Bhagwant Mann and Delhi MLA n Punjab incharge Raghav Chadda seated alongside.

The vociferous MP of AAP in Lok Sabha Bhagwant Mann is the front runner to be the chief ministerial face of AAP in Punjab but preferred to be elected by the public through a poll before being declared when asked by the Delhi CM about his wish in this regard. This is how Kejrival came to the conclusion of going in the people’s adalat to seek voting for the new CM face.
