Harish Rawat and, TSR meet after a long spell, exchange pleasantries

After several days, rather a long spell of time, the former CMs of Uttarakhand from ideologically different parties viz BJP and Congress, all of a sudden met each other and exchanged pleasantries, Both of them interacted with each other and enquired about each others’ well being.

Though in politics, leaders usually call the meeting a courtesy call though lot of things transpire between them. If they really reveal the nature of interactions honestly, then there may be a political explosion especially when the two leaders hailing from ideologically rival parties meet n interact.

But it never happens.

The media has no option but to rely on what is posted in social media by them, whether it’s true or a blatant lie.

The picture of former Uttarakhand CMs Harish Rawat and Trivendra Singh Rawat clicked by someone, is being shared in social media when both of them reportedly met each other all of a sudden. According to the news reports former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat has gone to meet some of his close acquaintance in a Defence Colony house at Dehradun where the former CM, Trivendra Singh Rawat knowing that the former is there arrived. Both had interaction n gossips for some time, having personally met after a long interval.

Though belonging to rival parties, it is believed that both of them are in very good terms since beginning and if one goes to dig their past mudslinging statements, one will find very few such instances when both of them has opposed each other at personal levels or even when they were CMs.

They even went to meet each other in hospitals to know their well being.

I remember, when Congress leader and former CM Harish Rawat was admitted at AIIMS, Trivendra Singh Rawat has visited him to enquire about his health n well being.

Whenever, Harish Rawat spoke about TSR, his tone n tenor was respectful and vice versa. Even during CM Harish Rawat’s tenure as CM, the case of Dhencha Seeds Scandal was withdrawn after the probe found nothing substantial against TSR though the present cabinet minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat did raise some controversy few months ago claiming that it was during his tenure that he had given clean chit to TSR as a result of which he became CM later on.

The news was too much hyped then, in print and electronics channels with former CM TSR strongly criticising Dr. Harak Singh Rawat for his baseless uttering in public.

Anyways, after meeting each other both the former CMs have posted this picture of their meeting on their respective Twitter handles and tweeted about what transpired between them in just two three lines.

The former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat tweeted : after a long spell of time met respected Harish Rawatji just by chance. After Corona there is lot of improvement in his health. On enquiring about his health he said in his own style : I am quite well tweeted former Uttarakhand CM TSR

In another tweet former CM n chairman of the Congress steering committee Of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat wrote : Felt good to see Shri Tirath Singh Rawat ji in an enthusiastic mode tweeted Harish Rawat.

Former CM and senior state BJP leader, lawmaker from Doiwala Dehradun was replaced by Tirath Singh Rawat MP several months ago ago completing his 4 year tenure as CM who was then replaced by the present CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. Today TSR is holding no position and there were speculations earlier that he may be given important political responsibility at the centre, but it didn’t fructified. Therefore, his meeting with Harish Rawat raised several eye brows in both the parties raising several rumours.

This picture is a lesson for the political workers n leaders of rival parties to maintain their personal relationship smooth and harmonious with their rival party leaders always as nothing is there to become enemies, as politics is just a game which can be played with a sporting spirit never ever arriving at the level of serious enmity.
