Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami watches Ansh Hanuman at Hathibadkala theatre and praised it to the core
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami today visited the cinema hall at Centrio Mall in Hathibarkala, where he watched the film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, inspired by the life, devotion, service and spiritual journey of renowned saint and spiritual icon Shri Neem Karoli Baba.
On this occasion, Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Geeta Dhami, Cabinet Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi, MLA Shri Pradeep Batra along with various office bearers and other dignitaries were also present.
After watching the film, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that India’s saint tradition has always shown society the path of truth, service, compassion and spirituality. The life of Neem Karoli Baba is also an inspiring example of this great tradition. He said that Baba’s message of devotion, human service and love for all is still as relevant today and has the ability to give new direction to society.
The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand, along with being Devbhoomi, is also the land of great saints and spiritual traditions. Neem Karoli Baba’s Kainchi Dham has today become a major centre of reverence and faith across the world. Creative efforts that take the life and message of such spiritual personalities to the masses play an important role in connecting Indian culture and Sanatan values with the new generation.
Chief Minister Shri Dhami said that the film ‘Hanuman Ansh’ focuses on India’s rich saint tradition, devotion, service, love and spirit of human welfare. Through the film, an attempt has been made to bring to the fore the spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba and those values associated with his life, prominent among which are unwavering faith in God, human service, compassion, love, humility and public welfare.
Chief Minister Shri Dhami appreciated the efforts of the producers and entire team of the film and said that positive and inspiring films based on Indian culture, spiritual heritage and saint tradition increase awareness about service, values and human values in society.
‘Hanuman Ansh’ has been directed by Shri Vishal Chaturvedi and actors including Shri Shobhinav Sateya have played prominent roles in it. The film was released in Hindi across the country on 7 August 2026.
