According to the news a family that mysteriously disappeared while returning from a wedding in 2000 was finally reunited after 26 years but not alive and in the firm of skeletons.
The mystery unfolded after the discovery of four skeletons, clothes, uniforms, and other belongings in an old van pulled from the Bhakra Canal.
According to information, Munni Lal, Tej Ram, Surjeet Singh, and Surjeet’s 8-year-old son, Kalu, residents of Kotla village, were returning from a wedding.
They were all in Tej Ram’s van, which he had purchased by selling his land just a month before the accident.
But the four never returned home that night. The van and all the people suddenly vanished, as if they hadn’t existed. The families continued the search on their own for years. They sold their land, hired private divers, and conducted searches in the canals and surrounding areas, but found no trace.
It is reported that yesterday, in a separate incident, divers entered the Bhakra Canal. During this time, an old van was spotted deep within the canal.
When it was pulled out, human skeletons, clothes, and other belongings were found inside, raising suspicions that this was the same missing family.
Initial speculation suggests that while returning in the dark of night, the van lost control and fell into the canal, and the strong current swept the entire vehicle into the depths. All four people died tragically in the accident, and the incident remained a mystery for 26 years.
